Content and sources.

I.
Origin of the content

The genealogies, historical notices and source apparatus gathered in these pages come from the work of Guido Guerri dall'Oro Gallone (1941–2019), carried out in public and family archives over twenty years. This site is its publication, updated and translated.

The primary sources cited — notarial acts, parish registers, diplomas, the Decree of 21 January 1999 — are named on the pages that use them and, where digitised, gathered in the Family Archives.

II.
Images and arms

Photographs and documents come from the family archives unless the caption says otherwise. The coats of arms are original drawings made for this site from period blazons.

If you believe an image published here infringes a right of yours, write through the Contact page: it will be taken down without waiting for a formal notice, pending verification.

III.
Reuse and citation

This content is published to be read and quoted. Quoting an extract is free, provided it names the author and carries a link to the source page. Reproducing a whole page or family tree, by contrast, requires prior agreement — which is obtained by asking.

The site readily points out other people's errors and just as readily accepts being told of its own: every documented report is verified and, where it holds, corrected.

IV.
Name and homonyms

"Principe di Tricase" is a noble title whose history is documented in these pages from 1651. The site has no connection with commercial ventures that take up the name, in Italy or abroad.
